Celebrating the
contradictions and
connections between
the natural world and that
constructed by mankind.

Loreal Prystaj

Visual Artist

Reflecting+on+Nature_4_edited.jpg

Royal Collage of Art alumni Loreal’s work often exposes the relationship between time and space, with a juxtaposition of the human form and its environment. Be that our domestic environment or nature. “There is no such thing as compromising with nature; we simply abide by how it lives and exist as a part of it. Nature is relevant to each individual’s well-being, but is more than just part of us, we are a part of it.” - Loreal Prystaj

We had the great pleasure of working with him to create an auditory soundscape to accompany the scents Human and Nature. Check them out above.

Strange Field Flowers is a design studio unlike any other based in the heart of the New Forest. Here the artist Genevieve Garner grows from seed and preserves all the flowers which she uses in each of her designs. Genevieve has a very strong custodial relationship with the New Forest and sees it as her muse and inspiration. Her work’s purpose is to celebrate and protect this area of unique biodiversity, and her art is a celebration of the rare oddities she comes across whilst exploring.
